I would say that my best advice would be--BE YOURSELF . Don't change how you are to try to make your date more comfortable with your SMA.
THE RIGHT PERSON WON'T EVEN NOTICE THE SMA. THEY'LL SEE NOTHING EXCEPT FOR YOU.
Or maybe my husband and I are just weirdos lol but for me, I don't see a man with SMA type 3- I see an amazing husband, a hard worker, one of the absolute strongest people I've ever been privileged to know, my best friend and an awesome grandpa. We've been friends since the 7th grade so about 35 years now and I wouldn't trade one minute of our time together for all the money in the world... not even the past two scary as hell years with his health!
I have never thought of him as disabled or different and I don't allow anyone else to either.

Understanding

I usually plan ahead like am preparing to storm enemy shores lol. Is always difficult and it keeps getting more complicated. Use to plan dinner, movies and roaming the mall which was all in same building and all accessible. Now shared activities is the thing and malls are all gone. Been trying to figure out for monthes how to get back out with someone but i dont drive and she lives a fair distance away.
