I just thought of a non-traditional helpful device...a 3D printer. Am only just beginning to use mine but the possibilities are endless for making custom items for anyone with a disability and are plenty of free downloads i would be posting many more such devices here, but unfortunately slightly skilled help to maintain it more than use it is necessary.
Alexa is great.. i use it as a phone too and intercom. I have made a few of my own adaptive gizmos that have come in handy as well that can find on Instructables.
I use Alexa to operate my air conditioning and heating unit. I also ask her to turn on lights.
