Best Advice: Each day is a new day, if you have a bad day one day - don't let it get in the way of a good day the next. Wake up with a clean slate!

Worst Advice: "You should go to a Pranic Healer"

Best: But what if it works out? In regards to a life choice, treatment, new equipment! I always try to go into it with the thought that what if this actually helps and improves my life?

Worst: If you don’t use it you lose it. If you gain weight it will make it harder for you to remain less disabled. When dealing with a progressive disease that can be unpredictable these thoughts don’t help. They put blame on the disabled individual who has no control of when and how this disease will progress.

Best: suffering is not a competition.
Worst: everything cliché - you have to play the hands you're dealt, etc.

I honestly never received good or bad advice about being with an SMA other than how do you do it? Stay so positive and strong. Well, I don't know it's a miracle 😂 lol.
