Dr. Luc Jasmin is a board-certified neurosurgery specialist with expertise in brain injury surgery, brain tumor surgery, neurosurgical treatment of pain using neurostimulation and intrathecal pumps, and neurosurgical treatment of spasticity using rhizotomies and intrathecal baclofen. He is trained in therapies for tumors, pain, and abnormal movements. He graduated from the University of Montreal. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the Royal College of Surgeons in Canada.
His academic research expertise is in neuroanatomy and molecular neuropharmacology of pain and inflammation. He is also the president of the Painless Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds higher education and the dissemination of knowledge over four continents.
